School years contribute greatly to the character of adults, our memories and friendships last a lifetime. Recognising the importance of place, work began on a Framework Masterplan at Dollar Academy in 2008 with Page\Park Architects. Setting principles for development aligns with the school's commitment to provide a positive and supportive environment for its pupils. The landscape forms a key part of the 200 year old school campus.

The design approach has always been to question how each project can add value to the visual appearance of the campus as well as to the education programme of the school.

New developments of play areas, synthetic pitch, refurbished main gates, car parking and new teaching building have coalesced seamlessly into the historic environment.

An appealing campus where children can feel at home is important for independent schools in a competitive market, where first impressions count.
