Experienced at landscape and visual assessment, we tailor our approach to suit the stage, scale and complexity of a project. From initial landscape appraisal through to production of an LVIA chapter as part of an EIA, we aim to provide a transparent and succinct report that helps the client and design team produce the best possible design solution whilst mitigating adverse landscape and visual impacts.

Our service is specific to the requirements of your project, and may include:

• Identifying the key landscape and visual sensitivities affecting a site
• Establishing the capacity of a site to accommodate development
• Guidance on landscape planning policy
• Appraisal of landscape and visual effects of a proposal
• ZTV (Zone of Theoretical Visibility) modelling
• 3D modelling and photomontage of proposals
• Proposals for design mitigation
• Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment
• Consultation and engagement with planning authority, local community and statutory consulates

We adhere to the Guidelines for Landscape & Visual Assessment (GLVIA 3rd Edition). Our approach is informed by many years experience, particularly in the successful implementation of projects. LVIA is the sound application of professional judgement; it need not be cumbersome and unproductive – we strive to make it an efficient process that contributes to improving the design proposals. Expertise in 3D modelling is used to produce photomontage visuals, supported by technically accurate site photography.
